Ikat is an amazing fabric with a rich history dating back thousands of years. Although the true origin of this weaving technique remains unknown, the detailed process of pre-dying each thread which is then often woven into a "tribal style" or "rocket-like" pattern is stylish and distinctive. The quality of a good ikat is one of the classiest and most enduring fabrics in the market to this day.

The craft of hand-block printing and the boldness of indigo and natural dyes are a perfect match. The result is a flattering, comfortable, fun, spring or summer shirt. Coconut shell buttons provide an excellent subtle detail. Our indigo shirts hold up fantastically for multiple uses between washings with little to no wrinkle effect.
